There are rooms that we tend to forget in estates as grand as 424 Beach Avenue. However, you can’t forget the Cafe and Baths that the owners have painstakingly created within the estate. Just as grand and unique as this lakefront estate, these little necessities in life are just as thought out.
The Italian Cafe:
As part of the major renovations that have taken place over the last 10 years, the estate owners wanted a bit of “Old World” to come home to. With a little bit of ingenuity and have actually enjoyed gelato & other fine deserts in Italy, they utilized an entryway and it’s unique fireplace to create the estates Italian Cafe. A perfect nook for morning coffee and chat or that perfect vino with cheese and meats.

The cafe area is immediately behind the kitchen so it has access to all the amenities it would need including a warm fireplace to take coffee by. The estates elevator that services the 1st and 2nd floors is immediately to the left and the 1st floor full bath is in the foreground to the left. (Pictured Below)

First Floor Full Bath with Tub/Shower:
During the same remodeling as the cafe, the owners wanted to ensure long-term guest and beach goers had access to a full bath and shower. The decision was made to eliminate a small half-bath and completely rework the floor plan to incorporate this much needed amenity.

Roman Bath:
The 2nd floor full bath has recently been remodeled as a project of the estate owner based upon her recent travels abroad. The Roman Shower, background center, is actually recessed into the floor that also allows for it to be used as a tub. The water is provided by a hand created lions head. The shower is full tile as well as the walls are tile half way up. As a perfect finishing touch, the floor is heated to ensure the warmth of the unique shower is not lost the second you step out of the shower.

This Jack N’ Jill bath between the Abu and Coca Suites is a full bath and shower combination with the traditional style of the estate kept in tact.
