With more than 7,000+ square feet of living space in the estate, there’s plenty of room to stretch out for an afternoon of reading in this refurbished nook. With the feeling you get once you walk in from the Parlor area and the gorgeous wood paneling, you know this room is a classic and welcomes you at every page turn. Solid wood built-ins have also been refurbished to portray the artwork of a true craftsman of the early 1900’s. The wood floor details the rich, unique features of the estate. French doors lead to the traditional covered porch on the front of the estate that is perfect for taking your reading outside. Once back inside, you’ll immediately notice that the wide, barrel ceiling has been painstakingly refurbished by local artist by Lorraine Staunch to resemble the open skies one would like to be under with their favorite literary hero.
